Campbell Griffin, Jr.

Campbell Arthur Griffin, Jr., is a retired attorney in Houston, Texas. Mr. Griffin had a long career in law but retired in the early 1990s. He spent his entire career honing his legal skills at Vinson & Elkins, LLP. The firm offers representation in various legal areas, including banking and finance, corporate law, intellectual property, labor and employment law, litigation, real estate, and tax law. One of the highlights of his career was taking 14 lawyers with him from the Houston office to the Dallas office, which now has 150 lawyers. Mr. Griffin initially wanted to pursue tax law, but after spending half a day with a corporate partner and receiving a preliminary offer, he decided on a different path.

 Mr. Griffin is an accomplished professional with a wealth of education and experience. He earned an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Joplin Junior College and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Missouri. Later, he obtained a Master of Arts in Accounting from the same university and concluded his academic journey with a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas. To stay up-to-date with industry changes, Mr. Griffin is a member of the Texas Business Law Foundation, the Houston Bar Association, and the State Bar of Texas. He has received numerous recognitions for his excellence in the field, including features in Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, and Who's Who in American Law. Mr. Griffin is now enjoying his retirement.
