Nicholas Longo

Nicholas A. Longo is an attorney and partner at Bachand Longo & Higgins, a law firm in Putnam, Connecticut. Prior to that, he worked as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney with the 11th Circuit Court from 1961 to 1965 and as Deputy Coroner for Windham County from 1965 to 1972.

He obtained his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1959 and his B.A. from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, in 1956. Mr. Longo is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Windham County Bar Association. He has also served on the Board of Directors for Putnam Savings and Loan Association from 1969 to 1978 and the Citizens National Bank from 1969 to 2015, where he held the position of General Counsel. Mr. Longo has been actively involved in various community organizations and committees. He served as the Past Chairman of the Town of Putnam Zoning Board of Appeals and the Past President of the Putnam Area Chamber of Commerce. He has also been involved with the Putnam Board of Education, the State Board of Education, and the Vision for Putnam Committee. With his extensive experience and dedication to his community, Mr. Longo continues to provide valuable legal services and contribute to the growth and development of the Putnam area.
