Zona Jones

Zona Jones is a highly respected attorney practicing at Harrison Davis Morrison Jones, P.C. in Beaumont, Texas. He specializes in personal injury, commercial, and consumer class action litigation. Mr. Jones obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University in 1985 and his Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law in 1989.  With over 30 years of legal experience, Mr. Jones has been involved in significant product liability cases. He has also represented the families of individuals in Croatia who were killed by defective dialysis filters. One of his notable accomplishments was serving as National Co-Class Counsel in a consumer class action lawsuit related to the Firestone Tire Tread delamination litigation. He served as co-lead counsel in a case against First National Bank of Edinburg, where a 12-person jury awarded $118,121,454.00 in actual and punitive damages. This verdict was recognized as one of the Top 100 Verdicts of 2012 in the United States and the second-largest verdict in Texas for a breach of contract case in 2012. He is currently representing multiple victims in the West Fertilizer Plant Explosion litigation and serves on the Plaintiffs' Executive Steering Committee.

 In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Jones is bilingual in Spanish and is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the District of Columbia Bar Association, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and the Jefferson County Bar Association.
